Child Watch Team Member

The Y is seeking a Child Watch Team Member to create a nurturing and safe environment for children. This role involves assisting with program development, implementing learning activities, and providing support to children and their families. The team member will work collaboratively and model positive behaviors. This is an in-person position.

Requirements

• Applicant must be at least 16 years old
• High school diploma or an equivalent degree preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification strongly preferred
• Experience working with preschool or elementary aged children is required
• Understanding of child development, early child education and/or child/family psychology is preferred
• Ability to support & model YMCA’s character values (Respect, Honesty, Responsibility, Caring)
