Nurturing Early Preschool Room (Maple) Lead Teacher

The Y is seeking a full-time, experienced Early Preschool Teacher to lead a classroom in the Maple Room. The role involves supervising young children, implementing program activities, and fostering a nurturing environment centered around the YMCA’s core values. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, creativity, and a commitment to growth and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development-family studies, early childhood special education, or elementary education with a concentration in early childhood education
• At least one-year of experience working with preschool-age youth
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Physical exam, TB test, and CPR/First Aid certification
• Interest in developing creative programming with YMCA core values
• Patient, high-energy and goal-oriented attitude
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents and youth
