Job Description
External Mortgage Loan Originator responsible for generating new business by building relationships with realtors, financial advisers, and other professionals. Requires experience in the Mortgage Industry, excellent communication skills, and ability to analyze financial information.
Requirements
- State license or certificate
- Thorough knowledge of mortgage insurance companies' pricing and underwriting requirements
- Working knowledge of credit underwriting and property eligibility requirements for FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, local bonding programs, and private investors
- Familiarity with local, state, and national laws
- Excellent communication skills and ability to analyze financial information
- Sales-oriented self-starter
