External Mortgage Loan Originator

We are looking for a Full Time External Mortgage Loan Originator to establish referral source relationships and sell mortgage loans to customers. The job requires experience in the Mortgage Industry, excellent communication skills, and a sales-oriented approach.

Requirements

• State license or certificate (varies by state)
• Thorough knowledge of pricing and underwriting requirements of various mortgage insurance companies
• Working knowledge of credit underwriting and property eligibility requirements for FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, local bonding programs and private investors
• Familiarity with local, state and national laws (e.g. zoning ordinances, Truth-in Lending, RESPA, energy audit requirements, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to analyze financial information
• Sales-oriented self-starter
