Remote Insurance Follow-Up Representative (Medi-Cal)

The Remote Insurance Follow-Up Representative (Medi-Cal) will be responsible for all collection functions for hospital and physician services, including account resolution, following up with insurance companies on claim status, and gathering information. This role requires accurate payment or denial submission and provides or arranges for additional information when needed.

Requirements

• Medi-Cal experience required
• EPIC experience preferred
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Knowledge of government and non-government billing guidelines
• Knowledge of account/claim status, resolution, and appeals process
• Knowledge of UB04 and HCFA forms
• Excellent customer service and time management skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
