Space RF Electronics Engineer

AnySignal is a startup focused on providing flexible RF products and services for demanding space and defense missions. As an RF Electronics Engineer on the Space team, you will own the design, manufacture, test, and deployment of highly integrated RF devices, working closely with a small team to build robust space communications systems. The role involves trade analysis, bringup and testing, collaboration with other engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with space-grade requirements.

Requirements

• Robust experience designing circuitry in microwave bands across the entirety of the RF data conversion and frontend chains
• Demonstrable experience with the end-to-end PCB design process
• Experience with electronic design and analysis tools such as Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, and Altium Designer
• Excellent understanding of RF metrics such as S-parameters, P1dB, noise figure, channel power, and EVM
• Strong experience with design and analysis of RF cascades, link budgets, and noise analysis
• Experience with test instruments (oscilloscopes, power supplies, VNAs, spectrum analyzers)
• Experience with low noise amplifiers, power amplifiers, mixers, ADCs/DACs, phased locked loops, oscillators, filters
• Must be a U.S. citizen, a lawful U.S. permanent resident, a protected individual, or possess eligibility to secure authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
