Job Description
A. O. Smith is seeking a Materials Engineering Co-op for a student enrolled in a materials engineering program. The role involves assisting with the development of alternative materials for water heaters and water treatment, running experiments, performing metallographic analysis, and providing technical assistance. It’s an excellent opportunity for co-operative education and hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced researchers.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Materials Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field.
- A minimum of a sophomore standing.
- 3.0 GPA in major-related coursework.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency with personal computers and MS Office Products.
- Sincere interest in materials/metallurgical engineering.
