Accounting Technician

Accounting Technician provides accounting support in various groups within Controllership, preparing journal entries, analyzing general ledger accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate close. Assist with policy development and provide guidance to less experienced accountants.

Requirements

• Familiarity with accounting office practices and accounting classifications
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Control, Fiduciary and General Ledger
• Ability to prepare journal entries, money moves, payments, billing, and accounting reports
• Analytical skills for variance and trend analysis
• Communication skills for presenting findings to senior management
• Ability to provide guidance and training to less experienced accountants
