Job Description
Apex Tool Group is seeking a Cell Machinist to program, set up, and operate precision machining equipment (mills and lathes) to produce components according to blueprints and specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical aptitude, technical documentation interpretation, and meticulous attention to detail. The position involves maintaining equipment, following safety procedures, and documenting work performed.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans
- Understanding of geometric and dimensional tolerances (GD&T)
- Ability to interpret technical instructions (manuals, blueprints)
- Problem-solving and practical application of concepts
- Physical capabilities to lift up to 50 pounds
