Apex Tool Group is seeking an Electronics Technician III to support new product development and sustaining engineering for industrial tool products. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing electronic systems, conducting inspections and testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, or 5+ years of equivalent hands-on experience in electronics troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair
- Skilled in soldering, cable assembly, and rework techniques
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and component datasheets
- Understanding of analog/digital electronics, signal integrity, and component-level debugging
- Exposure to embedded systems and microcontroller platforms, especially STM32; Arduino and PIC experience a plus
- Exposure to PLCs and industrial control systems (Click, Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
- Familiarity with electro-mechanical systems, sensors, actuators, and integration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with scripting tools is a plus
- Strong documentation skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a regulated environment
