Job Description
We are looking for a Developer Advocate to build and grow the Apify developer community in the Bay Area while engaging the broader developer ecosystem. You'll drive adoption with events, talks and technical content and act as a bridge to product and engineering to gather feedback and remove adoption friction.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in Developer Advocacy, Developer Relations, or a similar public-facing developer role
- Strong hands-on development experience with JavaScript and/or Python
- Deep empathy for developers by understanding their pain points, creating helpful resources, and feeding insights back into product development
- Solid experience integrating AI tools and frameworks into developer workflows and demos
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and engagingly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrable comfort in public speaking
- Based in the Bay Area with the ability to attend in-person events and also travel within the US or internationally on occasion
- Self-starter who works well cross-functionally and can manage independent projects end-to-end
