Job Description
AppDirect is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the DevOps Platform Team, which aims to provide a robust Internal Developer Platform. The role involves leading incident response, maintaining automation, defining SLIs/SLOs, and improving reliability. This position contributes to a culture that values self-service, automation, and a focus on employee growth.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in SRE/Production Engineering/DevOps operating distributed systems and microservices at scale.
- Proven incident response leadership.
- Strong observability skills in Datadog or similar tools.
- Expertise in designing actionable alerts and managing error budgets.
- Hands-on with CI/CD tools and release engineering (GitHub Actions, Argo).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Golang preferred) and Bash.
- Ability to automate incident workflows and maintain automation pipelines.
- Solid foundations in Linux, networking, DNS/TLS, load balancing, and performance analysis.
- Experience with databases and messaging systems.
- Cloud fluency in Kubernetes, AWS, and/or Azure.
- Security-minded and comfortable with compliance frameworks.
