Job Description
Apple is seeking a Senior Data Platforms Software Engineer to define the technical vision and lead the architectural evolution of the platform infrastructure enabling Data Science for Apple Services. This role involves driving strategic decisions, mentoring analytics teams, and influencing technical direction, focusing on platform innovation, security, and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in software architecture design and development
- 2+ years of experience in technical leadership roles
- Proficiency with containerized technologies (Docker) and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Terraform)
- Proven ability to design, operate, and maintain distributed systems
- Proficiency with Python and/or JavaScript
