Job Description
Applecart is seeking an Associate General Counsel to join their team in New York City. This role will be responsible for all aspects of the company's legal and compliance strategy, handling diverse legal matters and providing business-forward advice. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, resourceful, and adept at managing risk in a dynamic tech company environment.
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission and membership in good standing of the New York State bar
- 8+ years’ legal experience with a combination of Big Law and in-house experience
- Growth-stage tech company experience preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in data privacy counseling and compliance
- Extensive experience drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial and vendor agreements
