Job Description
We are looking for a software engineer with expertise in control of autonomous vehicles or mobile robots. Responsibilities include developing controls modules, characterizing vehicle dynamics, and evaluating academic research to create optimal-control-based solutions. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience building production software, hands-on experience testing controls solutions on real vehicles, and fluency in differential equations, numerical optimization, numerical analysis, and physics.
Requirements
- Passion about tackling challenging control problems involving a wide array of vehicles in various environments.
- 4+ years of experience building production software using modern software practices.
- Hands-on experience testing controls solutions on real, production-grade vehicles.
- Fluency in differential equations, numerical optimization, numerical analysis, and physics.
- MSc or PhD in mechanical engineering or computer science with coursework or research experience in controls.
