Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, India. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in designing mechanical components for electrical systems, particularly control panels. The role involves working on cutting-edge equipment that helps our customers manufacture display and semiconductor chips.

Requirements

• Sheet metal design
• Placement of electrical components (Packaging)
• Cooling systems
• Design for a cleanroom environment
• Hands on experience in routing in cable and hardness
• Problem identification and troubleshooting
• Define, coordinate, perform, and document engineering test reports
• Develop, design, or modify mechanical engineering layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications
• Lead the mechanical design of AC power distribution units
• Create detailed drawings, define fabrication processes, materials, and finish standards with comprehensive GD&T, and perform complex tolerance analyses.
• Plan and execute experiments to validate designs.
• Perform engineering analysis under general supervision
• Perform and document engineering tests under general supervision
