Lead Test Development Engineer

Lead Test Development Engineer to shape the future of mobility. Work on test software, hardware, and application specific tooling for assigned product programs. Develop and optimize manufacturing functional tests (electrical).

Requirements

• Work on test software, hardware, and application specific tooling for assigned product programs
• Develop and optimize manufacturing functional tests (electrical)
• Develop statement of work (SOW) for test and programming processes/equipment
• Support kick-off meetings and MSD workshops with/in the PML for the assigned project
• Enforce proper requirements management for the assigned test process
• Facilitate test coverage analysis process, ensuring adequate test coverage for the assigned test process
• Utilize 6-Sigma for Test Statistical Analysis Methods to optimize CPK performance of parametric electrical tests
• Track needed test equipment/tools, ensure availability of needed material for all equipment/tool development
• Perform test equipment buy-off at suppliers, drive capability studies, strain measurement, create list of key parameters to be transferred to quality plan
• Work out proper documentation of the assigned test process, respect the APTIV processes and procedures accordingly
