Job Description
Aptos is a blockchain on a mission to make decentralized assets accessible. They are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to help strengthen accounting and financial reporting functions as the company scales. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional in the US GAAP/IFRS space, focusing on financial reporting and governance.
Requirements
- Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Research and document technical accounting positions (ASC 606, 718, 326, 805 etc.) and prepare related memos.
- Manage financial close processes, reconciliations, and consolidation activities.
- Design, document, and implement internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).
- Oversee the general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Strategic support with executive leadership on accounting matters.
