Job Description
We are seeking a Cloud Data Engineer to support the build-out, deployment, and optimization of an enterprise Azure + Databricks data platform. This is a hands-on engineering role suited for individuals who have delivered large-scale data engineering solutions using Databricks, PySpark, and Azure services in regulated, cloud-first environments.
Requirements
- 5–12+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud data platform roles
- Hands-on Databricks experience is mandatory — notebooks, clusters, jobs, PySpark, Delta Lake
- Strong proficiency in Azure Data Services: ADF, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Functions
- Ability to write production-level PySpark, Python, and SQL for data transformations
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Azure DevOps
- Strong grasp of cloud data architecture, governance, access patterns, and performance tuning
- Solid understanding of ingest, transform, and model patterns for analytical workloads
- Experience working in enterprise, financial, or regulated environments is preferred
