Job Description
A major Canadian technology company is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead high-impact machine learning initiatives that influence strategy, customer retention, network performance, and revenue growth.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience in applied data science or machine learning
- Strong foundation in statistical modeling, time-series forecasting, uplift modeling, and causal inference
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
- Strong Python programming skills and ML framework knowledge
- Experience deploying and scaling models in cloud environments
- Knowledge of MLops practices and model lifecycle management
- Understanding of privacy, customer data protection, and ethical AI
- Experience with CRM, marketing, or customer analytics environments is an asset
- Excellent communication skills, especially with non-technical stakeholders
- Master’s or PhD preferred, or equivalent industry experience
