Job Description
Arcadis is seeking a detail-oriented Industrial Hygiene Specialist / Asbestos Inspector to join their Chicago, IL office. This full-time, on-site role focuses on asbestos inspections, remediation, IAQ assessments, and remediation oversight in commercial and industrial buildings. The position requires a self-motivated individual who can adhere to strict health and safety procedures and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
Requirements
- IL Asbestos Inspector License
- At least 2 years of experience with asbestos, mold, lead, or related Industrial Hygiene work
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER, OSHA 30-hour Construction certifications (preferred)
- Understanding of HVAC systems, building mechanical systems, and building construction
