Principal Protection and Control Engineer

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Protection and Control Engineer to join their Power Delivery & Renewable team. This role involves coordinating the team, ensuring project execution, and working closely with clients and other departments to deliver sustainable solutions for diverse projects, including utilities and developers. The position focuses on Technical Leadership, project management, and relationship building.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in system protection schemes and relay and control engineering design, relay selection, primary equipment interface requirements, communication systems and standards practice of transmission, substation and distribution, and generation system for both AIS and GIS substations
• PE License
• Proficiency in critical Engineering Software e.g., SKM, ASPEN, ETAP, CAPE, AcSELerator, WinIGS
• Experience within Power Delivery Protection & Relay Control consultancy businesses
