Job Description
Arcadis is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to deliver structural services to internal and external clients. The role requires interpreting codes, applying advanced software, and taking a proactive, creative approach to structural safety. Requirements
- Relevant Structural engineering degree
- Analytical mindset
- Experience with reinforced concrete structural calculations
- Experience with finite element analysis
- Basic understanding of concrete mechanics and steel mechanics
- Understanding of dynamics and implicit numeric solvers
- Experience with symbolic mathematical skills (MathCad)
- Knowledge of seismic and stress determination techniques
- Programming/scripting skills (Python)
- Good structural mechanics knowledge
