Job Description
Arcadis is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to join their Bridge team, focusing on the rehabilitation and design of major bridges across Canada. The role involves leading projects from conceptualization through construction, ensuring quality and meeting customer expectations, and collaborating with other engineering disciplines. Project management and team leadership skills are essential.
Requirements
- 4-year degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 15+ years of progressive related bridge engineering design experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and collaborative skills
- Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario, Alberta or BC
- Proficiency with the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (CSA S6)
- Technical knowledge of bridge engineering design and analysis principles
- Excellent technical report writing experience
- Proficiency in 3D modelling analysis software (CSI Bridge or MIDAS Civil)
