Job Description
Arcadis is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to join their team on a major transportation project in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The role involves ensuring construction quality, regulatory compliance, and adherence to project specifications, with a focus on highway construction. The Inspector will act as a liaison between contractors, engineers, and stakeholders, and manage project documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in roadway and highway construction inspection
- Electrical, Mechanical, and/or ITS experience (preferred)
- VDOT certifications (like those related to asphalt, paving, concrete) (required)
- Expertise in highway construction methodologies, materials, and equipment
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication skills
