Senior Electrical Engineer

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Resilience Water team in the Rochester or Buffalo, NY area. The role focuses on providing technical and design consulting services for electrical power distribution, controls, lighting, and communications, supporting projects for the Water Division. The engineer will be responsible for project management, budget development, and safety inspections. This position requires a strong background in electrical power and systems analysis.

Requirements

• Prior demonstrated consulting experience with water/wastewater and industrial facilities.
• Experience using AutoCAD MEP (2D and 3D), Revit, SKM Power Tools, short circuit calculations, overcurrent coordination, and/or arc flash analysis, and photometric study (Visual 3D or Dialux).
• Solid working knowledge of the National Electrical Code requirements.
• Willingness and desire to mentor junior/staff electrical engineers.
• Excellent customer/client service skills.
• Excellent, clear and concise, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams effectively.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license
