Senior ITS Traffic Engineering Project Manager

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineering Project Manager to join their Nashville, TN team. This role involves managing the preparation of engineering reports and studies, leading projects, and conducting traffic operational analysis using simulation software. The position is a key component of the larger Global Mobility Business Area, working with clients worldwide to design sustainable cities and communities. The role requires attending client meetings in person.

Requirements

• Experience in one or more of the following areas: TDOT design standards, ITS design, Traffic Operations Studies, and Safety Studies.
• Basic understanding of the use of traffic analysis tools (e.g., VISSIM, CORSIM, Synchro, SimTraffic).
• Experience/ familiarity with Microstation, Synchro, VISSIM and/or Sidra.
• Basic understanding of the application of traffic operations principles including ITE, MUTCD, AASHTO, and state DOT requirements, policies, manuals and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in groups as well as independently.
• Traffic Signal Field Operations / Implementation Experience.
