Job Description
Arcadis is seeking a Senior Stormwater Transportation Engineer to join their national drainage practice. The role involves engineering design, construction plans preparation, and providing quality control, with flexibility to work locally, nationally, and internationally. They emphasize a skills-based approach and aim to empower employees to maximize their impact.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant ALDOT drainage design experience
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET Accredited University
- Alabama PE license
- Understanding of ALDOT projects
- Experience working on ALDOT projects
- In-depth understanding of Bridge Hydraulics Analysis
- Understanding of FEMA floodplain regulations
- Knowledge of stormwater design
- Experience with permitting requirements for drainage
- Knowledge of stormwater treatment using BMPs suitable for transportation projects
- Effective communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to tackle new projects
