Principal Scientist, Translational

Arcellx is seeking a Princip Scientist – Translational Lead (Bioinformatics Focus) to drive translational strategy and execution for early-stage clinical programs. The role involves integrating biomarker and clinical data, designing analysis plans, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This position is ideal for a candidate with a strong translational medicine background and comfort with hands-on data analysis and infrastructure requirements.

Requirements

• PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, or related discipline.
• 6+ years of industry experience in translational medicine, biomarkers, or bioinformatics in oncology, immunology, or rare disease.
• Proficiency in automated flow cytometry analysis.
• Hands-on fluency in R or Python for statistical modeling, data visualization, and reproducible bioinformatics.
• Demonstrated ability to design and execute translational analysis plans.
• Experience contributing to INDs or regulatory filings.
• Familiarity with early-phase trials in cell therapy.
• Experience working in GCP/GxP-regulated environments.
• Exposure to tools such as FlowJo, Cytobank, Spectre, or Bioconductor-based cytometry packages.
