Production Technician

Production Technician performs preventative maintenance of the plant and material handling equipment, drives to minimize overall maintenance costs, and works in a team setting or independently to ensure the division reaches its goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Associate's degree in Process Technology or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a process or industrial plant
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Basic mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skill
• Ability to work a 12 hour shift rotating schedule
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to use physical force to lift, push, pull and hold equipment and tools
• Ability to regularly bend, stoop, reach, twist and stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to withstand elements such as rain, snow, extreme heat or cold and heights of up to 500 feet
• TWIC-card required
