Maintenance Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Multiskilled Engineer based in Stafford. The main purpose of the role is to provide electro-mechanical cover for our mixing and packing lines that produces sauces, syrups, fruit inclusions, and fillings.

Requirements

• Ensure supervision and safe operating procedures for visiting contractors
• Maintain Health & Safety rules and regulations
• Identify potential hazards/risks to the Health & Safety Manager/responsible person upon discovery
• Ensure all PPM schedules are completed and developed using predictive and diagnostic maintenance techniques
• Initiate improvement plans in a pragmatic and proactive manner
• Assist the engineering department in achieving its budget targets through the efficient use of materials and replacement parts
• Follow the correct accounting/authorisation process when ordering replacement parts
• Maintain and improve standards of hygiene and housekeeping in all areas of the factory
• Undertake emergency breakdown repairs in a timely and efficient way on all production equipment
