We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our team at our Erith, UK location. The successful candidate will have a degree in an engineering discipline, 1-3 years' experience in process plant/manufacturing operations, and a strong affinity towards continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Review and assess existing production processes and workflows
- Identify potential process safety and efficiency improvements
- Rectify production and equipment problems as and when required
- Analyse plant and process data/metrics
- Identify key cost parameters for the business and opportunities for cost reductions
- Assist in preparation of capital proposals/projects and interface between production and engineering
- Liaise with production management to co-ordinate and arrange work/projects that require plant shutdown
- Report and action on any health, safety, environment, quality or hygiene related faults, failures and non-conformances
- Maintain lines of communication on process issues between various departments
- Act as a key member of production management team, attending relevant meetings and representing the site as and when required
