This position will focus on improving plant reliability by analyzing bad actors and equipment issues through failure analysis and zero loss methodology. The Reliability Engineer will also take a proactive approach to new equipment installations by incorporating reliability into the design and supporting the commissioning of new equipment.
Requirements
- Perform duties in a safe manner, utilizing all safety equipment, and successfully completes all safety certification requirements.
- Work with Maintenance Superintendent to develop, coordinate, and conduct technical reliability studies and evaluations in order to maintain reliability of equipment.
- Investigate and analyze relevant variables potentially affecting processes and assets.
- Compile reports and recommend corrective measures to meet acceptable Reliability standards.
- Develop, track and maintain reliability databases and documentation.
- Support capital projects in order to incorporate reliability design and maintainability into new equipment and process.
- Provide plant engineering with technical support on reliability issues.
- Participate in engineering activities that improve the reliability of equipment.
- Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis and Reliability Maintenance and preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
