Lead Software Engineer (Typescript/Node.js)

Requirements

• Extensive experience in software engineering
• Backend engineering experience essential
• Experience using a cloud-native approach to developing scalable applications, including containers, continuous delivery and microservices
• Knowledge of TypeScript and Node
• Proven experience in a fast-paced growth environment
• Understanding of multi-server architectures
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL and MongoDB) and DevOps practices
• Passion for product and user experience, along with strong commercial thinking
• Strong desire to make an impact and take ownership early in the process
• Attention to detail with a focus on security
• Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD) is beneficial
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English language
