Job Description
Arconic is seeking a Metallurgical Engineer to join their Quality Team in Massena, NY. The role involves reviewing customer specifications, approving/rejecting practices, managing materials, and contributing to product development. Requirements
- Review customer specifications and prepares acceptance or exception letters.
- Review and approve/reject practices and advises customer service and production planning.
- Dispose of internal materials, investigate root causes, and develop corrective actions.
- Disposition customer materials, work with QA and process engineers, and develop corrective actions.
- Participate in Quality Management System and maintain ISO9000 and AS9100 certifications.
- Ensure AS9100/ISO/9000 procedures and product/process control.
- Advises location on process capability.
- Evaluates and develops products and equipment based on customer requirements.
