Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to contribute to a large-scale, high-visibility platform for a European Institution. The ideal candidate will have experience with Java, Spring, Elasticsearch, and Liferay DXP, with a strong background in distributed applications and cloud-based environments.
Requirements
- Strong background in Java (preferably Java 17), Spring Framework, and REST API development
- Experience with Elasticsearch and integrating it into applications
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud platforms, with a preference for Azure
- Good understanding of PostgreSQL and distributed architectures
- Knowledge of messaging systems like RabbitMQ
- Experience with Liferay (including extension, theming and frontend customization)
- Experience with Chatbot integration
- Experience with React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
