Faculty Associate

The School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies at Arizona State University invites applications for faculty associate positions for the 2025-26 academic year and summer session. Faculty Associates are part-time, non-benefits eligible appointments with a potential to be renewed. They are responsible for teaching, preparing course materials, responding to and evaluating student work, and holding weekly office hours. The School is an academic unit of The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, which is committed to advancing Arizona State University’s goals of excellence, access, and impact through innovative research and supporting students online and on-campus.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in History/Philosophy/Religious Studies
• Experience teaching undergraduate History/Philosophy/Religious Studies courses in person and Online
• Ability to commit to teaching duties
