Job Description
Arkadium is seeking an experienced 2D Game Artist/Animator to support Microsoft, a top client, on casual games. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create high-quality visuals that enhance gameplay. Candidates must be available for standard hours, with consideration for occasional U.S. work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Art, Game Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Game Artist or in a similar role
- Strong portfolio demonstrating polished 2D art
- Experience with UX/UI design
- Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum-based development environments
- Solid understanding of visual storytelling, color theory, composition, and animation fundamentals
- Experience preparing and optimizing assets for cross-platform performance
- Experience in creating and implementing animations using Adobe Animate or similar (VFX and in game animations)
- Experience with UI/UX design in games
