Job Description
The Armed Services YMCA is seeking a Part-Time Childcare Teacher to shape the lives of young minds in a dynamic, full-time role. This position requires creativity, diligence, and a passion for positive child development, alongside the ability to maintain safety and a supportive classroom environment. The ideal candidate will be the curriculum wizard, leading engaging programs and ensuring a safe and enriching experience for children.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Experience with children, youth, or teens in a daycare setting (1+ year)
- Completion of required training (Heart Saver, Redwoods, Marine Corps standardized training)
- Currently pass required health and sanitation tests
- Must have sufficient strength, agility, and mobility to supervise children's activities
