The Maintenance Controls Technician installs, troubleshoots, monitors, corrects, and proposes improvements to equipment electronic control and communication systems. Performs preventive maintenance on electrical systems and trains other technicians on equipment AC power distribution systems and control systems.
Requirements
- Troubleshoot equipment electrical controls systems
- Understand PLC programming, wiring schematics, HMI programming, and input/output diagrams
- Provide training to Maintenance Mechanics
- Place requisitions for needed spare parts and tools
- Work with engineers to define and document requirements for electrical systems, new control systems and system upgrades.
- Construct test beds and trainers to test equipment and train Maintenance Mechanics
- Provide guidance, and assistance to peers and technicians.
- Able to work extended hours/shifts as required
- Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above.
- Understand and live by Armtec’s ethics and business conduct policies.
