Consultant - Digital Assets Director of Business Development (Fractional/Contract Role)

Arootah, a personal and professional development leader in the Investment and Financial Services industry, seeks experienced Directors of Business Development, Directors of Capital Raising, and Directors of Fundraising to consult with their Hedge Fund and Family Office clients. The role involves providing expert advice on capital raising needs, developing action plans, and ensuring industry best practices. Candidates will collaborate with clients to identify and attract investors, and oversee fundraising efforts, leveraging a strong understanding of financial markets and investor relations.

Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Sales, Finance, or Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of ten years of professional experience in a similar Business Development or Capital Raising role with demonstrated success in raising assets for a Hedge Fund, Alternative Investment Firm or Family Office.
• Demonstrated success in raising assets in partnership with an Institutional Sales Team.
• Experience collaborating with sophisticated institutional clients and developing new opportunities.
• Knowledge of multi-asset sectors and investment types.
• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills and superb written and verbal skills.
• Confident client presentation skills (in person and phone) with strong follow-through skills.
• Strong team player with an entrepreneurial predisposition and strong interpersonal skills.
