Job Description
Arootah, a personal and professional development leader in the Investment and Financial Services industry, seeks experienced Trading Assistants to consult with Hedge Funds and Family Offices. As a consultant, you'll provide expert advice, helping clients develop action plans, implement policies, and ensure industry best practices. This is a fractional/contract role offering flexible hours and remote work.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience at a Hedge Fund or Family Office dealing with the reconciliation and resolution of trade breaks
- Must be organized and have strong attention to detail
- High level of efficiency and ability to multi-task under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team
- Demonstrated quantitative aptitude
- Understanding of basic financial concepts
- Proven experience working with different asset classes in a high-volume environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of settlement practices and procedures
- Familiarity with back-office custodian, brokerage and clearing agencies
- Drive to deliver on high value projects and a roll up your sleeves attitude.
