Senior Data Scientist

Arrive Logistics is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of industry experience building and owning production data science or machine learning systems, with a Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative field. The Senior Data Scientist will work closely with Product and Engineering to translate business needs into data and modeling solutions that contribute to a positive business impact.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative field
• 5+ years of industry experience building and owning production data science or machine learning systems
• Experience developing predictive or decisioning models used in operational or real-time settings
• Demonstrated experience working with complex, multi-source datasets, including feature development and data quality challenges
• Experience building, deploying, and evaluating NLP or LLM-based systems in production
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL in production analytics or machine learning environments
• Proven ability to partner with engineering teams to deploy, monitor, and iterate on models and data pipelines
• Ability to independently scope and drive ambiguous data science problems from problem definition through production impact
• Experience with explainability, model diagnostics, and stakeholder-facing performance reporting (plus)
