Arsenale is seeking a Hardware Engineer to design and deliver electronic and electromechanical systems that power their next-generation bioreactors. This role requires a strong understanding of electronics, biological systems, and industrial automation, aiming to shape intelligent, nature-aligned manufacturing solutions. The ideal candidate will focus on the integration of digital and biological worlds and building robust, compliant systems.
Requirements
- Degree (BEng, MEng, or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
- Significant hands-on experience in electrical system design, electronic circuit development, PCB layout, and industrial control systems
- Proven track record in integrating electromechanical systems and designing for industrial automation environments
- Expertise in sensor technologies, signal processing, data acquisition, and real-time systems for precision applications
- Strong capability in EMC/EMI design and analysis
- Deep understanding of safety standards and compliance regulations (CE marking, UL, etc.) for biotechnology applications
- Proficiency with laboratory and field testing equipment
- Programming competence in C/C++ and familiarity with modeling/simulation tools (Python, MATLAB/Simulink)
- Systems thinking mindset capable of understanding complex interactions between electronics, biology, and industrial processes
