IT Network and Systems Engineer

Asana is seeking an experienced IT Network and Systems Engineer to oversee internal IT Infrastructure systems & networks at their global offices. The role focuses on implementing and supporting all-aspects of Asana's corporate IT infrastructure, ensuring a world-class service for their users. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, a detail-oriented communicator, and passionate about technology, capable of both independent and collaborative work. This position involves network management, server administration, and the growth of Asana's IT operations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with Operating Systems, Server Hardware, Storage, and network infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows servers
• Experience with Virtualization and IaaS/AWS deployments
• Solid knowledge of networking terms, models, and protocols
• Familiarity with common network & systems monitoring tools such as: NMS, ELK Stack, MRTG, nagios, Splunk, Cacti, & Syslog
• Experience with managing key vendor relationships for system and network technologies
• Scripting experience with Python, Perl, Powershell or equivalent
• Familiarity with authentication or access control systems and protocols: AD, LDAP, RADIUS, SAML, Kerberos, & PAM
• Understanding of best security practices
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
