Medical Director, Clinical Development - Job: 1741

Ascendis Pharma is seeking a Medical Director to join their dynamic Clinical Development team. The Medical Director will be responsible for designing, monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting clinical trials in endocrinology. This role requires a blend of scientific expertise, clinical experience, and strong leadership skills in a fast-growing global biopharmaceutical company.

Requirements

• M.D. degree
• ACGME-accredited residency and fellowship (strongly preferred)
• Board-certified (strongly preferred), with specialty in endocrinology highly desired
• At least 5 years of industry experience (other relevant experience), or 3 years with clinical trial design and execution.
• 3 years of experience with clinical trial design and execution
• Strong track record of scientific and clinical inquiry
• Excellent communication skills
• Multi-tasking ability with attention to detail
• Leading both directly and by example
• Sound judgment in handling regulated information
