Job Description
Ascendis Pharma is seeking a motivated Technician to join their Protein Sciences team. The role involves producing therapeutic candidate protein candidates, characterizing protein quality, and improving existing workflows. The company values curiosity, collaboration, and innovation.
Requirements
- Completed training as Biological Laboratory Technician, BTA, PTA, or a related life science discipline
- 0–3 years of experience in academic, biotech, or industrial research settings
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in molecular biology, cell culture, and protein expression (e.g., CHO/HEK293 cells)
- Strong hands-on experience in protein purification and analytical techniques (e.g., ÄKTA, HPLC)
- Careful and precise working style
- Self-organized, structured, and detail-oriented
- Good communication and basic presentation skills
- Proficiency in English and German
- Team-oriented mindset with a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration
