Job Description
Ascent is seeking a Creative DevOps Engineer to join their team and help shape the evolution of DevOps culture on customer projects. The role involves supporting the journey through digital transformation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering effective solutions in cloud environments. Requirements
- Azure Administrator or Developer Associate (AZ-104 or AZ-204), Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400), Bonus: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Terraform Associate.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, suitable for senior level, cloud engineering, and stakeholder meetings.
- Strong understanding of software and data engineering technologies, including infrastructure, architecture, and automation.
- 5+ years of experience in a development or operational role with 2+ years in DevOps.
- 3+ years of deep working knowledge of Microsoft Azure PaaS technologies.
- 3+ years of experience and deep working knowledge of infrastructure as code technologies.
- 3+ years of experience with version control and automation platforms.
- 3+ years of experience with scripting languages and automation pipelines.
