The Chemical Blending Supervisor will direct and coordinate day-to-day blending and large container production activities, and provide leadership and training to employees within the Blending Department.
Requirements
- Oversee activities in the blending and large packaging areas to meet production goals, safety, quality, and cost objectives.
- Plan and coordinate the flow of materials through the blending department, from raw materials to finished products.
- Participate in plant continuous improvement activities and processes.
- Maintain plant cleanliness and ensure customer tours can be a positive marketing experience.
- Assist in the planning and administration of policies and procedures.
- Make budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.
- Review and analyze production, quality control, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications and operating or production problems.
