Job Description
Renaissance is seeking a Business Advisor (Mandarin Chinese Speaker) to support small businesses in Flushing and across NYC. The role involves providing counseling, access to capital, and ongoing guidance to help entrepreneurs succeed. It offers opportunities for professional development and career advancement, while contributing to economic development in the NYC area.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience in business, finance, or community development.
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
- 2+ years of experience in small business counseling, lending, economic development, or entrepreneurship.
- Strong knowledge of local businesses and community resources in Flushing.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with finance/accounting principles is a plus.
